My art, simply put, is a celebration of our Oneness with Nature. The Wilderness and animals inspire because they reach that instinctive knowingness deep inside us that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.
Since in art I can express myself without talking or writing, my drawings are a way down the rabbit hole, my looking glass into the non-verbal, natural world around us. Each and every animal portrait I draw is special to me. I am often overwhelmed by the powerful sense of spirit that comes alive in my drawings when I put the eyes in. I believe they whom we see look back at us in mutual awe - “Who are you? and What are you all about?” I love the opportunity my art gives me to explore and share the mystery.
